Managing Environmental Impacts
AAC Technologies continues to make efforts and sustained progress in mitigating environmental impacts through progressive improvements in resource efficiency and waste management, as well as through the adoption of cleaner production technologies in operations.
China has announced its plan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. It is expected that policies and regulations related to carbon emissions will become increasingly stringent in the future. AAC Technologies' plant in Shenzhen has played a part in the plan for carbon emissions trading since 2018. In preparation for the enactment of the carbon trading system, AAC Technologies has established a carbon emission calculation system to systematically record carbon emissions data for each production site.

The extension of production in Changzhou plant led to an increase in water consumption. The management process of water usage will be revamped to improve on timeliness of monitoring the performance of water usage. Also, it is intended that we will increase the renewable water.

Environment, labour, human rights and social prosperity are increasingly important to the public. In order to implement comprehensive sustainable management, we are committed to promoting sustainability through our supply chain. We will evaluate suppliers on three dimensions: quality, environmental and society.

AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. (the "Company" or "AAC Technologies", together with its subsidiaries collectively referred to as the "Group") adheres to the corporate social responsibility policy of "putting people first, complying with regulations, making continuous improvements and giving back to society."

In making all our business decisions, we consider both sustainability and society and community, to ensure that all decisions are made with an understanding of their social, environmental and economic impacts and are in line with AAC Technologies values of "safety first, scientific management and steady development."
Committed to the principle of stakeholder engagement, we strive to identify and respond to stakeholder concerns, in order to strike a balance between economic development and environmental and social responsibility.

This sustainability policy should be communicated to the stakeholders of AAC Technologies, including but not limited to the Company's employees, shareholders, suppliers, business partners and customers, and made available to the public, including public investors.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
AAC Technologies has always been keen to contribute to economic and social development in communities where we operate.
- Since 2021, we donated over RMB1 million each year to support the disadvantaged in education, medical services and poverty from various communities in China, including Changzhou, Nanning and Kunshan.
- In 2023, we received “Outstanding Contribution Award” from Changzhou Government for recognition of continuous human resources enhancement efforts, including training and career development initiatives.
